Background

Accountant and owner of MJ Tax Services, Mark Jacobson was born and raised in Minnesota and currently lives in Boca Raton, Florida, with his family. After attending the University of Minnesota, Mark went on to play varsity tennis and receive his undergraduate degree from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota as well as his master’s degree from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida. In his role, Mark enjoys solving his clients’ complex tax issues and setting up efficient accounting systems for their business. When he’s not serving others, Mark enjoys playing tennis and spending time with his wife, their three teenage children, as well as their dog and two cats.

Work History

Prior to starting MJ Tax Services, Mark developed broad corporate financial experience at Office Depot and at Slimfast. It's his well rounded experience that has allowed him to be a value added partner to his clients in tax advice, tax research, accounting and business matters.
